The 2024 Series has been a year to remember for basketball enthusiasts across Cyprus. This thrilling journey unfolded in 6 dynamic provinces – Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Platres, and Nicosia – and brought together athletes, fans, and communities.

The 2024 OPAP Cyprus 3×3 Series has concluded, leaving a lasting impact on the island’s basketball scene. This year’s edition witnessed unprecedented success, attracting a staggering 27,000 spectators across six thrilling stops: OPAP Nicosia 3×3, OPAP Larnaca 3×3, OPAP Paphos 3×3, OPAP Platres 3×3, OPAP Ayia Napa 3×3, and the grand finale at OPAP Limassol 3×3.
The series saw a remarkable surge in online engagement, showcasing the growing popularity of 3×3 basketball in Cyprus. A total of 150+ teams participated across various age categories, from U12 to U18, alongside exciting Women’s, Men’s, and Corporate categories.
A historic milestone was achieved this year with the inaugural Cyprus 3×3 Finals for the Open Men category. The top 12 teams from the island, having battled through the six qualifying stops, competed for a cash prize of €2,000.
While the series did not host an international competition this year, it proudly welcomed teams from abroad, significantly elevating the level of competition.
The OPAP Cyprus 3×3 Series continues to be a resounding success, solidifying its position as a premier sporting event on the island and we cannot wait for the special 2025 season with the 10th Anniversary.
